In the modern world filled with lifestyle diseases and health information confusion it is hard for the conscientious person to find pure truth about how to live a long and healthy life for the benefit of others. Our goal is to help provide an information resource so that each site visitor can make the right healthy lifestyle decisions. However you define this site and yourself, as total vegetarian, vegan, lacto ovo vegetarian, light meat eater, etc., should not hinder you from gaining benefit from our resources.

Because most of society lives on a diet based on the strength of taste bud sensation or the fulfillment of emotional needs, they have dulled senses for the intricate tastes of foods. They also have very little, mostly conflicting and misinterpreted information, about the direct effects of diet and exercise on physical and mental health. For many it is not directly their fault, as those charged with raising them have not given them the information they need to make wise decisions. For most others, they wrongly believe that healthy lifestyle and nutrition are too complex and difficult to live by to merit the effort because they merely hear common news reports about insignificant conflicting scientific finds. And, a very small number, know the truth and just don't care. This site is not for the latter.

The truth is that when we return to the original diet that we were created to consume by God we enjoy the fullest vigor of life we can have in this life. Our brains become more acute. Our bodies become more able to fight off disease. Also our senses are returned to us and we learn to taste our food more fully. In essence it is really simple to live healthy: Simply pray regularly, rest regularly, exercise regularly, and eat the foods found in nature - fruit, vegetables, legumes, grains - in as much variety as possible and as much moderation as possible from one week to the next.

This does not mean as common perception suggests that we must not have any good tasting food. There are just as many ways to prepare a total vegetarian menu item as there are to prepare a meat.

Most of the complexities of a healthy lifestyle, in particular healthy eating, do not arise from them being any more difficult to maintain than any other lifestyle. The complexity of living healthy is caused by it being so unusual to partake in a healthy lifestyle. Society is built around an unhealthy lifestyle. If most people sought out a healthy lifestyle it would be more difficult to live an unhealthy lifestyle than a healthy one. It is our hope to turn the tide of society in this direction.
